Dobrev dairy shop on the corner of Arsenalski boulevard and Vitosha boulevard is one of a few shops under the brand name Dobrev. They tend to offer high quality dairy products from selected manufacturers as well as their own produce.
There is a wide range of fine cheese offered at the shop, such as: Bulgarian white cheese, ricotta cheese, Bulgarian yellow cheese, Italian cheese, homemade milk and butter, mozzarella, etc. I particularly like to go there to buy their cream cheese, which is very similar to the Italian ricotta cheese, but it is a bit softer. It makes an ideal breakfast when spread on a slice of bread. If you want to add extra flavour to it, you could also add "sharena sol" on top of it.
At the shop you can also find fresh sandwiches with bread baked on the spot. The sandwiches make a quick and great lunch. My personal favourite sandwich is the one with prosciutto and mozzarella. I also like their freshly baked croissants. Add homemade lemonade to it and you get a healthy and tasty lunch.
Dobrev has a total of 7 cheese stores in Bulgaria of which 6 are in Sofia, so there is a good chance that there is a store near you if you live in Sofia. As with all these types of shops around the world, you can expect to pay a higher price than you would pay at other places, but I think the quality is worth it.
