Lick your fingers after having one of the most tasty fast foods in town at Fantasia Bakery.
Cars stop at the bus stop (which is forbidden of course), guys come straight after clubbing, workers on night shift, policemen, all hurry to get in line, all here to eat from the magnificent bakery Fantasia, known as "the bakery of Krasno Selo" (Krasno Selo is the name of the quarter - meaning 'Beautiful village', although it is not a village, nor beautiful anymore).
It's right across from what's the biggest south district market during the daytime. However at night, the bakery of Krasno Selo is the one of very few things operating.
Although in a fairly distant part of the city, there is always a queue in front of the non-stop bakery of Krasno Selo. The wait is worth it, because this means you always get the food right from the oven. They offer a wide variety of 'breakfasts', as we call them, and you just can't go wrong with anything you choose, be it salty or sweet. Indeed, you'd better order two. At least.
If after all you are still not into this type of simple 'delicacies', you can try the good old doner-kebab from the booth next door, which is also part of Fantasia bakery and therefore delivers a matching quality.
