Siesta is a small wooden bistro/restaurant in the middle of the South Park in Sofia. It is rather hard to find if you don't know where to look for it. It looks like a mountain hut as it is built of wood and has wooden benches and tables outside.
The food is not that impressive, although they have a good variety of dishes, including fish and barbeque, as well as pizza. What I really like about the place is that it is a great relaxation place during the summer heat as it is surrounded by huge trees and there is a river flowing near by.
In the summer the place is quite busy and in peak times it might be hard to find a free table as the restaurant is usually full of people resting and having a cold beer after walking or playing around in the park. It is often visited by moms with their little children.
An interesting thing to note is that the restaurant attracts and supports a lot of cats. There are usually about 20 cats walking around and asking for food from customers. Some of the cats live on the roof and they all create a very bizarre environment.
