The Coffee Bar is a wonderful neighborhood coffee spot in a somewhat quiet area, but just a couple of blocks away from the bustle of busy streets. It is the place I go to when I want a great cup of coffee, but also for the comfortable atmosphere.
The ambiance is cozy and I can easily spend a whole afternoon there with coffee and a book. A chalkboard wall displays the menu, and the space is filled with vintage décor that includes a comfortable yellow couch. On warmer days, I love their outside patio to enjoy my coffee with some sun. Seating is limited and the place gets busy on weekends, so it might be tough to find a spot.
The coffee itself is spot on. TCB uses Ceremony Coffee (from Annapolis, MD) and have beautiful retro looking equipment for the espresso beverages, which are fabulous, complete with cute barista art.
Did I mention the free wi-fi? Really, you can spend a whole afternoon here and you wouldn't know it.
