"De Krook" is Ghent's new public library, located next to the river. It has a nice bar and its great views over the three towers will leave you speechless.

When you arrive to Ghent by train, you can take the tram to reach the city centre, or you can follow this walk I do every day and which has everything...

"House Van Waes" is a boutique in Ghent from the 1930s. It's not open anymore, but you can easily admire the ship-inspired architecture to this day...

"Prinsenhof" is an area of nice streets and a quiet place to walk in Ghent. For me the best part is the flea market on the first Sunday of September.

"Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat" is one of my favorite streets in Ghent. The other is the Walpoortstraat. They are vivid in a way I absolutely like.

About me
Graphic designer, guide and barista. 3 different ways to live and look at the world.
Born and raised in Ghent, although I grew up in a small town near Ghent I never left the city. For me it's the best place to be creative, to get inspired, to love and have the time of my life.
Give me a newspaper, a coffee and a seat in a nice coffee place or in the shadow of a tree and I'm happy. Some culture now and then, and I'm complete.
Why Ghent?
Ghent is a city in motion. The city where I was born. Historical and medieval, but not a museum. Old and brand new at the same time. Small enough to know it all, but big enough to discover brand new things. Vivid but relaxing, thanks to my friends.
