Spotter since 2017
About me
I’m originally from Buenos Aires, but I’ve called Los Angeles home for as long as I can remember, having lived in just about every area, at one point or another. I’ve plied my trade managing movie theatres for most of my adult life, specializing in the marketing aspect, but my real passion is in writing – short stories and novels more than screenplays, despite living in LA!
Why Los Angeles
Los Angeles is not your standard metropolis. It is truly huge, without a city center, and completely unconventional. It can be very frustrating, but that’s where the beauty lies - it's unpredictable and always changing. Every neighborhood is unique and full of surprises, and you’re never done discovering it. The combination of art, nature and weather is unparalleled.

"Figaro Bistrot" Los Angeles: the quintessential cafe and a magical spot that will allow you for a quick trip to Paris! I go for their Omelette for brunch.

"New Beverly Cinema" Los Angeles is a 35mm only theatre. Q. Tarantino is head programmer and it only plays double features, the true way to enjoy films!

The "Metro Red Line" in Los Angeles is not like other painted subway stations in other countries: here, they've really taken it and run away with it!

"Angels Flight" in Los Angeles (from 1901) is back after some years out of commission. The best part is that they restored it and it has the old cars!

The "Museum Row Public Art" in Los Angeles allows me to enjoy street art without having to go inside a museum proper. I've always preferred doing that...

"Echo Park Pedal Boats" in Los Angeles is a great idea for an activity in the beautiful park that takes advantage of our good weather and isn't the beach!
by
"Hollywood Forever" Los Angeles is a cemetery unlike any other in the world. Let's just say I definitely recommend visiting on Dia de los Muertos!
