About me
I was born in the Philippines, raised in the Netherlands, and am now living in Finland. Traveling around is in my blood! I'm also a language aficionado, a writer, an artist, a dancer, a recreational cyclist and a bit of a novelty seeker! I don't shy away from researching and trying something new!

I like discovering and exploring both nature and urban areas, e.g a park with a pond, a walking or cycling trail in a forest area, a curious shop or an interesting-looking restaurant, café or bar! I'm of the conviction that there's always something new to explore, no matter where you live or how long you've lived there.

Why Tampere
I fell in love with the city of Tampere, and Finland, back in 2017 during an international exchange. Even though my stay was brief, it was enough to make an everlasting impact on me. The different environment, the different language and culture, it was all a novel experience for me! I visited Tampere a few times after 2017, but since 2019, I have been living here officially and have been constantly discovering new places and establishments!

The world was sent into lockdown in 2020, but it enabled me to go out and about and explore the Tampere area some more, and boy, have I found a lot! I'm happy to share my experiences and findings in Tampere with everyone who's interested, no matter if you're only a tourist or a new resident!
