About me
Hi there, I'm Kristel – a self-proclaimed foodie and copywriter always hungry to find the best spot out there. For my job, I get to combine the two things I love most in life: food and writing. Because I write for restaurants, I have to know what’s happening in the city and basically try and taste EVERYTHING. I know, it’s a tough job. But with it comes endless knowledge, which turned me into a walking restaurant encyclopedia, always telling my friends where to go. And I would love to do the same for you.
Why Amsterdam
Amsterdam is a truly special place. Besides its good looks – I mean, those canals never get old – what I love most is that there's always something new to discover. The city is small enough for everything to be within bicycle distance and to always find a familiar face wherever you go. But it's also big enough to have new restaurants pop up every day, have multiple neighborhoods to discover and endless amounts of cuisines to taste. And yes, it does get cold and rainy. But hey, even then, this city always warms my heart. I even have her eternalized as a tattoo on my body, so luckily she'll be stuck with me forever.
