About me
My work has exposed me to a range of issues and sectors and I am much the wiser for it.
Born in the last century, I witnessed 1999 - there was no meltdown - and I partied, just as the song says. A bit of a city girl, I do have some appreciation for nature when it involves skiing, swimming, good food, and archaeology.
Why Prishtina
I remember a Prishtina that no longer exists: smaller, calmer, neater. When I think about how it used to be and how it is now, a pang of nostalgia hits me, which does not last long. The essence of Prishtina is still alive and kicking.
"Babaghanoush" in Prishtina is definitely not just for vegetarians. - I'm far from one myself. Still, I love it, not just for the food - what lovely art!

"The Lapidarium" is one of my favorite places in Prishtina. It's basically the archaeological park, an open exhibition space. Very easy to miss!
by
"Shooters Billiards & Sports Bar" in Prishtina is a modern, friendly and cozy place for playing pool, snooker or billiars. I also love their snacks!
by
"Matcha Coffee & Eatery" in Prishtina is a healthy restaurant with all the sprouts, beans, kale & avocado you can imagine. But I love their Eggs Benedict!

"Anise" in Prishtina is a restaurant that makes heavenly banoffee pie. I always pick it when my spirits are low. Also, try the egg salad w/ avocado...
by
"Sonder" in Prishtina makes the best bagels ever! I also recommend getting a jar of jalapeños -- they're made in Kosovo and I love them!

Fitore Berisha is one of my favorite artists in Prishtina. See her brilliant art in Kafja e Vogel.

"Say It With Flowers" is simply one of my favorite shops in the whole of Prishtina. How can I resist how friendly the people who have this flower shop are?
