If you like chilled and easy-going places like me, Ala Rampa in South Tel Aviv is definitely something for you! It's not far from Florentin, but more south in the industrial area at Shoken street, where no tourist usually sets foot. Not that it’s dangerous, it’s just not a pretty area. Ala Rampa though made their place really nice, and people seem to like it - they exist since 2012. They are on a kind of ramp (hence the name) and have many tables outside with a shader, so you can even sit there during the day.
While sipping your alcoholic “Brain Freeze” (yes, it does freeze your brain!) or the “Pink Lemonade on the balcony” you can check out a “Bandaid” Dede left on the opposite wall.
Their food is typical Israeli with cauliflower, eggplants and lots of salads and pasta. I recommend the cauliflower with tehina and parsley or the Asian style “Bruce Lee” salad.
Check their facebook page for events, as they have concerts and other events frequently.
