Cafe Edmund used to be one of my favourite backyard coffee shops on Allenby til they closed. Then they moved to a new place on Yehuda Halevi Street, but like a true Tel Avivian, they moved again - now to the Gia Hostel in Yitzak Sade 32, the Montefiore Neighbourhood. Unfortunately, there is no backyard anymore, but it's still a cool cafe to hang out and drink your pink lemonade or coffee. For summer there is a rooftop that I wasn't able to check out yet.
Whenever I am there, I have to eat their special Avocado Cream Bread with Chili, Garlic and Lemon - they even offer it as a couples version for cheaper! There are also many options - gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, regular. The best is to come on a Friday to get a glimpse of the sun and chill with the Tel Avivian crowd!
