In our city, Thessaloniki, we are very proud of our variety of night scenes, so let me introduce you to one of my favorite places! In Ano (Upper) Ladadika district on Veroias street, you can find the cutest gorilla! The venue and its decor combine an industrial, minimal yet warm and funky style with handcrafted details that tantalize all five senses with an emphasis on quality ingredients. They create seasonal menus with signature cocktails and twists on classic ones. They have a quality selection of over 200 spirits!
In fact, the owner Achileas Plakidas and Gorila Bar in Thessaloniki competes at the World Class Bartender competition, and he was the Greek winner of 2018, so you can imagine how delicious the cocktails are!
Also, attention brunch lovers: in this space you can taste one of my favorite brunches in Thessaloniki! On the weekends they serve their brunch menu from early in the morning until 4 o'clock (Spoiler Alert: My favorite one is the poached eggs on the waffle with the hollandaise sauce!) Also don't forget to try their special V60 coffee! ;)
