Bana’s is the newest restaurant in town; it opened in November and is on its way to becoming a popular spot, so I am presenting this place to you without the overwhelming crowds yet. Situated inside the Pyramid of Tirana, just a turn to the right when you enter, and good pasta is looking at you.

This is a place where you’ll discover not only freshly made pasta to-go but also a tempting array of sandwiches crafted with Italian and Albanian products, displayed beautifully on the countertops. Upon placing your order, a buzzer is provided to you, which alerts you when your order is ready for pickup at the counter. I love the fact that something like this exists in Albania because I think we are too impatient as people, and we need to communicate our needs. Jokes aside, the buzzer is a great idea.

What I love about this place is the opportunity to choose your pasta and observe its preparation while it’s being cooked to perfection. Additionally, in this place, you can try authentic Italian tiramisu and various other dessert offerings, which is a delight for me as I have a sweet tooth for Italian desserts.

The coherent and refreshing design of Bana’s adds to the overall experience; sitting on the small terrace inside the pyramid is a comforting feeling due to the history of the pyramid. So while at Bana’s, you can also explore the newly renovated Pyramid of Tirana.
