Mullixhiu serves dishes from the past but presented in a new light. Chef Bledar Kola, who was also trained at Noma and is a well-known personality in Tirana, recreates his dishes by combining local seasonal ingredients with classical techniques. Mullixhiu is indeed one of the first restaurants that started the farm-to-table movement and has pioneered this type of Nouvelle Cuisine in Tirana since 2016.
The location and the ambiance are very rustic and minimalistic with a traditional flair.
Now they offer a tasting menu with a traditional touch and an interesting Albanian Wine List. Mullixhiu is a more refined experience compared to what is usually considered traditional food in Tirana, so if you are up for a nicer - less casual - dinner, this may well be your spot.
