Do you know what cheap cocktails and shots mean? To me, as a local in Tirana those mean Raum, 2nd floor. Raum Bar is located in the Blloku area in Tirana. It is not a fancy place to keep calm and be dressed up. The logo of Raum is "don't keep calm, but get drunk", that's why I love it.
I don't think that there are young people in Tirana that have not tried Raum. Raum is very cheap and it could be a perfect place to pre-party, since in Tirana it is not common to buy alcohol in the supermarket and pre-party at home.
Furthermore, even though I am inside, I never get the idea I cannot breathe like I get in most closed places. Raum is surrounded by big glass windows from the floor to the ceiling. As such, I feel like I am on a terrace, in particular during the summer when the windows stay open all the time. In the winter then who wouldn't like to see the rain through the glass of the windows and enjoy a glass of red wine? I do love it and it makes me think in a way that I actually enjoy the rain.
To conclude it, you are in Tirana and you are on tight budget... Then what are you waiting for? Go out because Raum is waiting for you! You will probably find me there, so see you there. Cheers!
