Das Donau is a great great place to start your evening at. Maybe you're just done enjoying contemporary art in the Museumsquartier or you need to round up a merry day of town-touring. If so, you should definitely come here.
Donau comes along as a wicked kind of place where you can have a beer or two, enjoy a spicy selection of electro tunes and have a dance to the fluvial vibes on the dance floor. There's also quite a classy snack bar that offers vegetarian and non-vegetarian hot dogs and you'll find some really comfortable, original cinema armchairs that give the place a certain old school Viennese character.
You won't be able to miss glancing at the ceiling. The kinky, always varying, light installation might make you feel you're actually floating lazily along the river.
