The craft beer bar Ammutson opened their doors in March 2018. I initially received the recommendation from a friend living in the same building of that bar, telling me he needs to stop by regularly, as there are new beer types available almost daily. Misho, the Egyptian owner, decided that he wanted to start his business by not depending on big industrial beer brands, but rather support small breweries which he knows personally.
One thing you will never get at Ammutson is bottled beer: Misho wants his assortment to be fresh at all times, so he set his mind to tapped beer only. Sometimes there’s as little as eight litres of one kind and when it’s drunk up, a new beer is introduced. Keeping this is mind, you’ll always be surprised by what to expect when paying the bar a visit. You can also order smaller 0,1-litre "portions" in order to make your way through their current beer collection. It’s part of their business concept, so it’s not super cheap, but you’ll be amazed by the variation and different tastes a beer can have.
