You know those days when you are lying lazily at home and have no strength to cook any proper meal? Yeah, me too. And since I don’t like ordering from delivery services (because of how they treat employees), I prefer to sit at a neighborhood restaurant and at least get out of the house for a bit.
I walked by this place for a couple of years and always wanted to try it, but only when my friends and neighbors said it is great, I went in and actually tried it. They have tables inside and an outside area on the street. I prefer ordering take-out and sitting at the Donaukanal to eat it.
The food is really delicious, and they have a versatile menu. The portions are huge, so don’t be surprised if you have leftovers for dinner. Considering the portion size, the quality, and the usual prices in Vienna, the prices are OK and totally worth it.
They have many vegetarian options with tofu and seitan, but also a great offer for meat lovers. I usually order the tofu peanut bowl because you can’t go wrong with peanut sauce. Try and see!
