Kopiec Powstania Warszawskiego is a historical place. It rose from the ashes of Warsaw after World War II in 1945. It is located in Czerniaków, one of the districts in Mokotów. It's near the Wisła river.
I love to go there on Sunday when the weather is sunny and when I can enjoy the amazing views from the top. It is not very high, so it is a good idea for a walk, but I prefer to take my MTB bike and make it more challenging :). There is a nice sidewalk for pedestrians but there is also a track for MTB lovers on the side. It is short but very nice.
At the top there is a viewpoint with a place to sit down and enjoy the sun and the view where you can learn something about Warsaw's history.
