This place amazes me all the time: it's open in winter with -30-degree temperatures and has everything (e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g) you might want to buy, mostly with a lot of history behind it, though. Most of the stands are in the open air. Berlin has its Mauerpark, and we've got our Bazar na Kole.
Whether you are looking for a stylish lamp, a Barbour jacket, a painting (mostly by apparently well-known painters), second-hand books or LPs, photographs, silver cutlery, gadgets, old toys for children, plates of all kinds, a traditional Polish bedspread (and traditional Polish suit to accompany it), furniture, a necklace or a trendy leather bag (or a vintage leather bag for that matter), a TV or a fireplace - you name it - Bazar na Kole has it all.
The most convenient to get there would be by tram number 24. The place will probably force you to be a frequent guest in these interesting surroundings.
