Located in a beautiful street in Saska Kępa district, Hałas (Polish for ‘noise’) Vinyl + Coffee is well hidden, yet directly in the city centre. You may pop in after a walk in Park Skaryszewski or the Polish-German Gardens I’ve written about, or start a day before heading to visit the city. It’s also a great stop in Saska Kępa if you’re looking for a niche café and not a popular or American one. Here you truly are a local.
Hałas about themselves: “we offer a carefully curated selection of brand new vinyl records. You’ll find current releases as well as many cult classics.” As you can see, Hałas comes in handy for a gift for a friend (or yourself) as well as some gossip in Warsaw.
It’s one of the cosiest specialty cafés in town, with a neat gardenette and a possibility to park a bike easily; surrounded by green, it will steal your heart and music taste forever.
