Close to the Warsaw Powaski Cemetery (check it, even if it sounds weird, Krzysztoff Kieslowski's grave is there), there is a square. Yes a square. There's not many in Warsaw I know but it's a special one, especially if you love good wine.
The building was renovated some years ago and Mielzynski, probably the best wine shop in town, opened here. If you stay outside, you have the feeling that it's a proper restaurant, but if you go inside a wine shop pops up and you can pick wines from almost every corner of the world.
Of course it's not the cheapest place in town, and they even add 30% on the price of the bottle if you decide to drink in the garden or inside, but believe me: it is worth it.
The surrounding buildings are industrial and entirely covered by green leaves; the smell is that of tasty dishes, and the wine will make your night perfect.
The appetizers are good, mostly Italian-influenced, but there are also dishes with a touch of Polish taste. So; what are you waiting for?
