In the last 5 years burgers have become very fancy in European cities.
Fancy can also mean "hipster", but this word is often given a negative meaning, at least in Warsaw: hipster here means = strange/old/expensive. Of course, a burger fan is not necessarily a hipster! But the question where to find a good burger in Warsaw remains.
Well, there are several places that offer high quality burgers, but yes, they usually are expensive, and yes, sometimes they are with lentils and not meat.
In Pulaswka street, just 20m away from tram stop, there is a very (very) small place The menu is really short, the waiting line is very short, the quality HIGH. called Warburger. They serve the best price-quality combination for burgers in town. My favorite is the "Giacomo burger" with an Italian taste. The menu also includes 2 options for vegetarians, one of them with "oscipek", a traditional Polish cheese produced in the mountains in the South of Poland.
For food lovers, just 5 meters away there is "Limoni" where they serve ice-creams, so it's perfect for a family day before or after walking in one of the many public gardens located in the surrounding area.
I like to go there when I have no time for cooking. Their burgers have not disappointed me to this day.
