I have a late-night tradition. Any time I'm dancing or hanging out in the Dupont Circle area, I don't go home without stopping at Surfside. This location is open all day every day. Considering I regularly stay out past midnight, it's good to have a place that I can rely on to be open and have good food.
If you don't have time to go up to Dupont Circle, Surfside has two other locations in DC (one in Tenleytown in NW and another at the Wharf in SW). Just be advised that the other two aren't open 24 hours a day. That said, all of the locations have a nice variety of options to pick from. Tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, and a few other items.
So if you're hanging out in Dupont and you're trying to decide if you should leave because you want to eat before going home, don't rush if you're still having a good time. Surfside is there for you.
