They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If that's true, you should head to Babus. It's one of the best breakfast locations in Zurich, mastering the art of breakfast and earning fame for its variety of homemade bagels, fluffy pancakes, and delicious morning delights. Not to forget their options for coffee, as they offer a variety of beans and brewing methods to choose from.
My personal favorite is the açaí bowl, made with açaí berries and a thick, smoothie-like texture topped with granola and fruits. Its fruity taste makes it a perfect meal to kickstart the day.
But it's not just the food that draws crowds; it's also their ambiance. Which, much like the açaí bowl, sets the perfect mood for starting the day. And if you miss breakfast time, they also offer a lunch menu with various quiches and salads. I do recommend getting a reservation or being early if you don't like to wait in line.
