On the 35th floor of primetower.ch, which is visible from afar above Kreis 5, opposite Maag Halle and right next to Hardbrücke station, you will find the Clouds restaurant. The price level is rather high, but it's more than worth it.
We had tickets for a musical in the hall opposite and wanted to go for a festive meal to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, the bistro was fully booked that night for an event, but there was still room in the restaurant.
You can drop your coats at the lobby and take the fast lift to the 35th floor, and the adventure begins. Walk through a dark hall with red sofas on the wall and enter the restaurant. The room is festively decorated and warmly lit, and chefs are busily cooking at the kitchen counter.
Through large panoramic windows, Zürich's city lights directly below, lake Zürich and Zurich's local mountain, the Üetliberg, shine through. We were seated in a cozy little alcove, which is slightly raised and offers almost the same great view as the tables by the window. The service was fast and friendly, and we enjoyed some fine Prosecco and the famous Zürigeschnetzeltes (traditional sliced veal with creamy wine and mushroom sauce) a lot.
This is a lovely, memorable place for a special occasion.

"Weisses Kreuz" in Zurich isn't fancy - it's probably what some people would call an 'old man's pub', but what other pub has a 'Stammtisch' for regulars?

The outside area is also worth a visit. You'll find a beautiful collection of palms and agave in a sandy environment crossed by a water basin with fishes.
