The Freitag Tower is the flagship store of the iconic brand Freitag. Freitag is a Swiss brand famous for its sustainable approach to fashion. Founded by brothers Markus and Daniel Freitag in 1993, Freitag makes bags using truck tarps and seat belts, meaning that every single bag of Freitag is one of a kind.
The tower's structure is made of repurposed shipping containers transported from Hamburg to Zurich by train. The structure consists of 19 of these shipping containers stacked on top of each other. The Freitag Tower is not only very beautiful to look at but also functions as a flagship store. Therefore, you can visit the Freitag Tower and explore the world’s largest selection of “individual recycled freeway bags”. The selection of Freitag bags can be found on the first four floors, but if you climb further, you can enjoy a gorgeous view over the city and Frau Gerolds Garden.
