Hawaiian Poke bowls are taking over the world right now and have recently conquered Zurich. I love them. They're like a big mountain of deconstructed, yummy sushi. Ona Poke is especially good at creating these gems.
Not really a fancy, restaurant experience, here you order at the bar and take your own food to your table (or takeaway only at the moment), but the fresh, quality ingredients all manage to speak for themselves.
You can build your own bowl or go for one of their suggestions. I like to go for what they recommend because I have been known to overdo it when I go solo. The last time I was there, I went for the Tuna Laguna, which was a delicious mixture of black venere rice, tuna, avocado and sesame yuzu sauce. With every bowl you also get to add one of their seasonal ingredients. I chose roasted sweet potato last time. On a previous visit, I chose the spicy mayo sauce, which I can also highly recommend. This is the ideal place to visit if you want healthy, fresh food that also tastes delicious.
Open for takeaway under Covid restrictions.
