With creations ranging from the sweet - ricotta, maple syrup and almonds - to the savory - horseradish cream and smoked ham - it's really any pancake lover's dream. And just wait until you've tasted their selection of mouthwatering waffles and 'Poffertjes' - a type of small, fluffy pancake...
As if all that weren't enough, they serve really tasty breakfasts as well - like the hangover killer 'Dicke Berta'. Also, unlike most other places in Zurich, they'll serve them any day of the week.
The locale itself could best be described as having a modern Scandinavian touch with its bright rooms and huge windows - a perfect spot to spend some time reading the day's paper or meeting up with friends for a delicious ginger-mint tea. And if you wait long enough you can witness how this café turns into a hip nightspot with good music, interesting people and tasty cocktails. Very nice indeed.
