About me
I am a photographer and arts administrator based in Athens, Greece with extensive administrative experience including working closely with modern cultural institutions, foundations, museums, contemporary art galleries, publication houses and graphic design studios. As an artist I draw inspiration from the political and social context that I live in.

In 2013 I decided to move to London, UK in order to get an insight into the art world by studying at Goldsmiths College, University of London. In September 2014 I was awarded the Master of Arts (M.A.) in Culture Industry, which is a degree with strong elements of media philosophy and cultural studies.

However, my nostalgic nature, in addition to the vibrant art scene in Greece, motivated me to return to Athens and explore every corner of this inspiring city.

Since 2014 I have been working as an arts administrator. My true passion lies in creating a map of Athens’ contemporary art scene by wandering around, visiting art shows, holding interesting conversations and of course by taking loads of pictures!

Why Athens?
Athens is a city of great historical and cultural importance, within which a creative community is developing, as contemporary art galleries, design studios, alternative food markets, vintage shops, music venues, performance spaces, cafes and restaurants are popping up like mushrooms after a rain shower.

However, what I really love about Athens is that, day by day, it turns into an artistic battleground of social change. Its amazing contradictions are what make this city unique.
