Nakama Casual Sushi Bar opened last year and since then it has been a common secret among sushi lovers in the city. If you have a low budget then this is the place in Athens to get a taste of what Japanese cuisine has to offer.
To be precise, I highly recommend the Nakama rolls, especially the red dragon Namaka roll, the Mango twist nakama roll and of course the Shrimp salad with tobiko wasabi in yuzu truffle dressing! Although the place is quite small, the service is fast and friendly. In Nakama’s cozy interior you can meet university students (the University of Athens is right next door) but also lawyers on their lunch break.
It is located in the heart of Kolonaki district and even though Nakama’s high quality and hype decoration make the place look overpriced, the menu prices prove that this particular sushi bar is the definition of value for money!
