It might be a slightly unusual tip but this toilet in Ljubljana is definitely worth visiting!
Only a short trip to Šiška district you shouldn’t miss toilet at Kino Šiška Centre for Urban Culture. An exhibition project was produced by Multipraktik and ZEK creative crews. A conceptual visual intervention consists of more than 70 drawn key figures from Slovenia’s urban scene in the past 30 years. These young creatives found a great way to show how even a simple visit of a public space which is usually connected to intimacy, can become fun and interesting event.
Sprayer Jurij Lozič has spent four days drawing two-dimensional images of people waiting in a queue. They are plotted in the form of a basic image, however they differ according to individual peoples characteristics. With this ingenious idea toilet became an exhibition space and Centre for Urban Culture Kino Šiška finally got its unique hall of fame. What a simple but absolutely effective idea and probably the coolest exhibition venue I’ve seen around!
