With new renovations and upgraded decor, Kūkotava (Translating to Cakery) should be your go-to location for satisfying a demanding sweet tooth. Built for the busy person, Kūkotava offers a fancy, modern adult atmosphere where one can both sit down and enjoy a delicious treat or take to go and surprise someone with a fluffy, sweet, and criminally good eclair.
Kūkotava's charm lies not just in their cakes, but their perseverance and fame among the locals. I myself had heard much about the place but hadn't gotten the chance to try it out before, not being the biggest fan of sweets. And although Kūkotava didn't change my preferences, it certainly made an impact on my taste buds. Honey Cake is my pet peeve and their cranberry one felt like the best I've had in ages, not to mention the sleek atmosphere in which I could enjoy it.
So, if it is not specialty burgers, pizzas, museums, or other cultural sights you are eagerly hunting for, I suggest giving Kūkotava a visit. Their options might not be the cheapest in town, but the made-with-love taste is well worth the extra few euros you're paying!
