In some limited situations less choice is the better option. That's why I like small menus and specialized places. If I want a pizza, I go to a pizza place, if I want vegetarian - a no-meat restaurant (check out the Dream House article). And if I feel like eating grilled food, Skara Bar is one of the first names that crosses my mind.
My favourite dish is quite simple - meatballs that come together with some fries and salad. Yes, of course you can buy meatballs cheaper than that, but these are worth every stotinka. And I love their Ljutenica. Don't tell anyone I mentioned that but the secret ingredient is cinnamon which gives it a very distinct taste.
After all the eating and drinking (such meals deserve some rakia or good Bulgarian wine), I cannot help indulging in a dessert. Mint ice cream is my favourite - very light and refreshing. If you like something heavier, try pumpkin with walnuts, honey and cinnamon.
If that's not enough - free wi-fi, you can bring your bottle of wine for just € 5 per bottle, their homemade lemonade with mint and honey is also quite tasty and you can order take-away kilograms of grilled meat.
They also have a restaurant at Georgi Benkovski 12 but the one in Zaimov park is much better in spring and summer because you can sit outside. There's a new location at "Poligraficheski kombinat" (ask anyone about it).
