The Thaiboat is one of those places that, even though it isn’t floating on turquoise water but next to a non swim-friendly harbor quay, it really is that summer sign we’ve all been waiting for after a lingering winter. To finally stick our feet in the artificial sand and stare at their fake crocodile in the water all over again.
Well hey, don’t get grumpy – this year is the first time they’ll be open the whole year around! So no matter the temperature – expect glass-enclosed huts, heated outdoor seatings and coziness.
Unfortunately the prices are a little bit above average for this part of the city, especially the drinks, but a rare experience like this is totally worth the visit!
