Although The Thaiboat isn't floating on turquoise water, but instead next to a non-swim-friendly city harbor quay – your blissfully ignorant mind will thrive in this tropical present. When you finally take that first sip on a Chang beer or that tropical strawberry mojito, aah!
The Thaiboat stays open all year round. Either you choose to sit inside the boat, or at their heated outdoor seatings. Or why not book one of the igloos(!) for a five-course Thai fusion menu experience.
And just in time for the summer's return, the vibe is really peeking. Then the igloos are replaced by a sandy beach and sun loungers. You can even spot a crocodile in the water. Fake or not, it's up to you to tell...
Considering the rare tropical experience the Thaiboat is, it's totally worth a visit whilst in Stockholm!
Note: I suggest you make a reservation if you want to have dinner.
Venture further, and you'll discover the enchanting side streets, Bellmangatan and Tavastgatan. Each exudes its own unique charm.
