Vitabergsparken is a park beloved by the citizens – manifested by a collective pilgrimage here each summer. This is where we gather to have picnics, pre-parties before a night out – or simply to celebrate the summer.
The park is located at a height and on the hillside under a beautiful church called Sofiakyrkan. Despite temperature for your visit to Stockholm, you should definitely go for a lovely walk up here. The autumn is especially beautiful among all trees. Despite the relaxing greenery you can also spot some preserved workmen’s dwellings from the late 1800s, as well as a music pavilion.
The ideal ending of your visit then is to make a stop at the square Nytorget located right below. Have a warming coffeee at one of the small cafés and do some people watching.
