I actually feel it is unfair to promote this tiny place here as it is meant to be small and "off" but I just can't do without it.
The bar has always been a meeting place for many neighbours and their friends, some of whom drink the "last one" here before going to bed. The waiters make a gorgeous "Polski sztorm" ("Polish Storm", a drink composed of 7 different types of alcohol). Some basic food (cheese, ham, hummus) can be bought here. All drinks are always accompanied by water & nuts. This can save lives! On some days there is a grill with hamburgers + more, and before Christmas they offer traditional herring. Also on some days, fresh oysters arrive. Then you can have vodka with them.
Lately, Wieczorny changed owners. For now, the drink menu was saved. We hope for the best (and are sure that Tomek & Monika left Wieczorny in good hands!) and are willing to continue visiting as always! Best of luck, guys!
