Bar Wieczorny – Polish storm!

I actually feel it is unfair to promote this tiny place here as it is meant to be small and “off” but I just can’t do without it. The bar is a meeting place for many neighbours and their friends, many of whom drink the “last one” here before going to bed. The waiters make a gorgeous “polski sztorm” (“Polish Storm”, a drink composed of 7 different types of alcohol). Some basic food (cheese, ham, sausages, hummus) can be bought here. On some days there is a grill with hamburgers + more, before Christmas they offer a traditional herring.

Wieczorny has a lovely backyard with garden furniture you can sit on. Also, concerts are organized here in summer. The place, matching its slightly ‘off’ atmosphere, only has a FB page and not a webpage. Check it for details.

Can’t decide? Check their “Zaskocz mnie” (eng. “Surprise me”) drink – just name the type of alcohol you want to have or a magic ingredient you love & the bartender will help. New on the menu are splendid classics and cocktails prepared by the staff. Try for example Suze 75 (and also its older sisters and brothers, i.e. the Airmail), an elegant beauty with lavender syrup.

On 12 May the opening of the inner courtyard is planned.
