As I'm writing this article, I've just got back from a solo recital by the incredible pianist Krystian Zimerman. And that's exactly the reason why I want to advertise a venue that might already seem pretty obvious... it's in this temple that you can see the best classical performers in the world, under the best circumstances! The concerts are pretty pricey but it's always worth it and due to the phenomenal acoustics, you don't need to buy first range tickets to enjoy the experience :) and, by the way, they also have lunch concerts free of charge sometimes.
As a fan of chamber music, you'd usually find me in the small hall but both halls are fantastic. The audience can sometimes be a bit greyish and uniform so please help me change this! :)
Due to Covid19, the Concertgebouw will be closed until September.
