Dear readers,
I didn't know about this pub until not that long ago, but what I do know is that it feels like I've known it for years. When my girlfriend and I are in the city centre, we tend to go get a pint or soft drink there. It is very cosy outside but also so much on the inside as well, as you can see in the picture!
It all started when, one evening, we wanted to go to another pub that was closed, so we stumbled upon this one. I was starving and really needed some snack to calm down my stomach. I saw something on the menu for a fair price and ordered it. They didn't have it anymore but offered me if I wanted a sausage; it was their last one. I thought why not and guess what, I didn't even had to pay for it in the end!
Another time we went there, we chatted and laughed a bit with an employee about the back-then fresh election results for the Netherlands—he was very nice! They also have a little plaque outside that says 'we are looking for regulars (vaste klanten)' instead of 'longtime employees (vaste werknemers)'.
So the conclusion is: if you want a cosy bar with humor and kindness right in the city centre, then this one is for you!

A classic is the pizza Calabrese with spicy salami, paprika, tomato, and mozzarella. Ask for some grilled onions on top to make it even tastier (you can thank me later).
