Ble Papagalos is definitely something different from the usual coffee places in central Athens thanks to its amazing food and unique vibe. Since it's located at Avdi Square, the heart of Metaxourgeio neighborhood, the idea of a noisy place might come to your head but the truth is you can't imagine how relaxed you'll feel at Ble Papagalos (Blue Parrot). I specifically like the fact that I always forget there are any cars or other surrounding noise.
Ble Papagalos is an urban hut with an eclectic style and great background music with a good variety of food and drinks.
You can find yourself drinking a 2-hour coffee while you and your friends “fix the world”. The volume of the music won't bother you while you create your own “manifesto”, you can certain about that. At some point, the artistic-jungle atmosphere and the smile of the waiters will make you feel at home.
The fact that they are serving food and all kind of drinks all day long (until very late in the night) is a great plus.
If the weather is good you can enjoy sitting at any of the tables they prepare on the square.
If I were you I would do myself a favor and go. It’s just great!
PS. If you are hungry don't miss their hamburgers!
