In recent years, brunch has become a favourite habit of Athenians. This happy meal in the middle of the day is now part of the city's everyday life, and especially on weekends, the places serving brunch are crowded with people. My favourite place for brunch in the city is undoubtedly Buho Bruncherie in Petralona. Although relatively new to the culinary scene of the city, it has already acquired a fanatical audience.
Buho is a bright and comfortable place suitable for all hours of the day. Buho is the ideal place, whether you want to start the day with breakfast and coffee, meet friends, or even work (as it has free Wi-Fi and computer spots). The place exudes warmth and a welcoming atmosphere that will win you over from the first moment you step in.
But we certainly shouldn't forget the excellent food you will try here. Starting with the unique pancakes (sweet and savoury), which, in my opinion, are the best I have tried in the city, the menu has enough options to satisfy all tastes. Omelettes, sandwiches, pinsas, egg dishes, salads, and burgers are all delicious and of excellent quality. All these could be combined with good coffee or an imaginative cocktail.
When it comes to brunch or a relaxing hangout with my friends, Buho Bruncherie is always the first place that comes to mind.

The house is known for the two wonderful Caryatid sculptures located on the balcony of its facade. The house was built in the late 19th century and is a typical example of Athenian neoclassicism.

My favorite morning walk in the Monastiraki Flea Market always ends with a visit to Zaharias Records. Here I can browse a huge and ever-changing collection of second-hand vinyl records and CDs and always discover something to buy.

Agios Ioannis of the Column is one of the most interesting hidden attractions in the center of Athens. The church was built in the 6th century AD, and its sanctuary was formed around an ancient Corinthian column.

Street art has developed mainly in large urban centres, and Athens is no exception. The Psirri neighbourhood in the city centre is inextricably linked to the history of street art in Athens.

Many artists, musicians, actors, and painters have relocated to Mets, giving it a more bohemian feel. There are only a handful of shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants in the area, a fact that creates a more intimate and cosy atmosphere.
