Kimolia Art Cafe is a family-owned, all-day cafe hidden in the narrow streets of Plaka. It is located in a 1920s building and decorated by a local artist, Katerina. She and her sons run this daily cafe, and one of them is Nikos, who used to be an Athens Spotter himself—one more reason to love this spot.
In Kimolia Art Cafe, you can enjoy a wide selection of teas, gourmet chocolates, and tasty dishes. My favorite chocolate is the one with the orange flavour, which I enjoy drinking while gazing around the rhythm of Plaka.
Fresh salads, sandwiches, as well as a selection of desserts, are offered all day long. I really like its movie-inspired cocktail list.
If you are wandering around the city centre, you can visit Kimolia for a break from your sightseeing and to enjoy the colourful decorations that give off a vintage atmosphere.
