If you like vintage accessories, if your sense of aesthetics is close to Sundance film festival, if you like cats and if you are a lover of David Bowie, "Koumpaki Cheiropoiita" is the place to be in Athens!
Koumpaki Cheiropoiita means "Little Button handmade wares". It is a cute little place located downtown at the area of Psyrri, very close to Monastiraki Metro Station. There you can find very special gifts you can buy for your lovely friends or the boy/girl you are in love with.
Just a couple of examples of the things that make Koumpaki special for me: the handmade t-shirts inspired by David Bowie; the fabric bags - ideal to carry your books to the beach in or to have them with you at your urban wanderings... or maybe some very special jewellery with lots of colours, like wearing a rainbow on your neck or wrist!
Eirini V. who is running the store is such a special indie girl! She makes you feel how much she loves her handmade stuff and selling them at her small shop. And lately she is running an eshop at www.koumpaki.com !
Pop and beautiful.
