I have to admit - I always loved children’s books, even as a grownup. And this cozy, specialized bookstore in Pagrati has provided the perfect opportunity to browse and shop for such books. Mauricio the cat likes to carry the latest publications, bringing attention to quality and design, and often hosts events such as reading time meetings with popular authors for his little friends.
You can also find a wide range of puzzles, board games, cute accessories, and several books in English. I can’t think of a better souvenir for people aged 3 to 93 than a map depicting Athenian attractions or Greek mythological monsters that you can color yourself (check it out here along with other diy goodies). I recently bought 'Illuminightmare: Explore the Supernatural with Your Magic Three-Colour Lens' from Mauricio; it was an instant hit for both me and my kid.
I have never met Mauricio the cat himself but, nevertheless, I love spending time in his shop and losing myself in his books' pages.
