I want to use this first paragraph to be very clear about my intention to talk about To Theio Tragi (The Holy Goat) in Athens: I want you to go there. You have to go there. You want to go there but you still don't know it :-).
This is such an amazing place, located in such a cool area I don't even know how to start talking about it, so allow me to be vehement and mention the atmosphere first. The restaurant is always full, so you'd better call some days in advance and make a reservation. About the decoration and the music I can just mention that it's amazing: they serve you food –let´s talk about it later– while you are listening to punk rock. PUNK ROCK! (the volume is not high, but perfect to continue having a nice conversation).
And the food, ah, the food! I bet you won't be able to leave nothing in the plate. The presentation, taste and amount of the food are just perfect for a creative cuisine restaurant. The menu changes every season, and I would highly recommend you have a look at the degustation menu they have for two people. The prices are above average but they are more than fair for such a restaurant, no doubt about it.
You also have the option to go to the bar just for some drinks.
