Zuzuto Ramen is, without a doubt, one of the best places in Athens to try ramen.
However, what exactly is ramen? Is it just a soup with noodles? Despite having originated in Japan at the start of the 20th century, ramen swiftly rose to prominence as a national delicacy. From its humble beginnings as a street snack, it has evolved into a global gourmet sensation and perhaps the most famous comfort meal in Japan. There is no need to analyse the various local recipes and variations of ramen, because at Zuzuto Ramen, you can taste many of them perfectly cooked.
The owners and workers of this restaurant are a group of people from different Asian countries. They have created a special Japanese restaurant with excellent food that, although it serves the cuisine of another country, creates a sense of familiarity and warmth. In addition to ramen (my favourite is the Classic Shoyu), you can taste excellent sushi and try several other traditional dishes. The overall impression is completed by the immaculate service and the neat area with the open kitchen and big windows facing the street.
Zuzuto Ramen's cosy ambiance and comforting cuisine transform the restaurant into a welcoming home dining room, erasing boundaries and fostering a memorable dining experience.
