Probably no tourist would ever enter Bar Fidel, unless a local would have recommended it! From the outside it looks like a regular Spanish bar with beer and some tapas. However, if you leave appearances aside, you will discover the best bocatas (sandwiches) of all Barcelona.
Every time I go, I promise myself I will try a new option among the 60 different sandwiches they have on the menu. However, I cannot help it: if I am at Bar Fidel, I always have to have the Trifasic, which has chicken, duck paté and camembert cheese. If you like onion, you can have Quadrophenia, which is Trifàsic plus onion. Usually, I combine the sandwich with their patatas bravas or another of their starters.
It is always full, so be patient, because I guarantee that it will be worth it. I will just end by saying that I have been hesitating to publish this article, so that Bar Fidel does not get even more visitors... I hope you will keep the secret between us!
