Shiny new places are always opening their doors in Barcelona, so I don't normally pay much attention to them, but I couldn't help myself not writing about this one, since it is one of my favorites. Chök is a space all dedicated to chocolate, so you can understand why it would be special. They have different locations throughout the city, but this is the one I usually go to. I usually come here when I've had a long day at work and it is always guaranteed to brighten up my mood.
It offers all kinds of delicious stuff, from donuts to cakes to chocolate bars. They even have a vegan section, so everyone is welcome there. My favorite ones are the truffles. They come in different flavors (all chocolate-based) and I can recommend every single one of them. There is no place to sit there, so you can either get something to take away or you can order them online also. They can make up for great gifts also, since they are locally made.
